NJCAA Academic All-Americans Announced For Pirates

North Central Missouri College athletics proudly boasted twenty-seven NJCAA Academic All-Americans for the 2017-18 school year.  Men's and women's basketball each had five recipients while baseball had four.  Softball had the largest number of players earning honors with nine.  Men's and women's golf each had a pair of recipients.  Academic All-Americans must earn at minimum a 3.60 cumulative GPA for the school year.  "These individuals exemplify what college athletics is all about.  Not only did they excel in their sports but they showed that being a quality student, first and foremost, is very important," remarked NCMC's Ryan Suttenfield.

Seven Pirates earned 1st Team status (4.0 GPA for the year).  Austin Wren (baseball), Harris Cameron, Jaran Richman, and Ryan Ward (men's basketball), plus Kendra Holt, Kenna Michael, and Melanie Roberts (softball) held that distinction.
