Men's basketball went on the road Tuesday night to take on Ellsworth Community College. The Pirates came out on the short end of an 82-64 final score despite leading 38-35 at halftime. The defeat drops the Pirates overall record to 10-6 on the season.
"This was a very disappointing road loss for us. We never really played with that since of urgency or passion that helped define our wins to start the 2nd semester. In order for us to get to where we want to be, we have to start being more consistent for 40 minutes," remarked Coach Esry.
Next up for the Pirates will be a home contest on Monday against Kansas City Kansas Community College. Earlier in the season, the Pirates took a 74-67 road loss to the Blue Devils.
