NCMC Pirates Men's Basketball has signed Kobe Cooper, a 6'2" guard from Hayti, MO.  He averaged 16.9 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game during his senior season for Hayti High School.  Hayti took second place at the MSHSAA Class 2 level in 2017-18 with Kobe earning First Team All-State honors.  In addition, Kobe has twice been named an All-District selection and three times an All-Conference pick during his prep career.

"Kobe is a physical specimen that is a proven winner.  Kobe was really well coached in high school and understands what it takes to be successful.  He is going to bring a high level of intensity and toughness to our group and we know what we are going to get from him every single day on the court.  Kobe also comes from the same high school as former Pirate Brandon Burdon.  We are excited to get another Hayti Indian in our program," remarked Head Coach Jeremy Esry.
