Game 1:
North Central Missouri College dropped an 8-2 contest in the opener to Metropolitan Community College despite a strong effort from Skylar Sunderland at the plate, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and drove in both Pirate runs. Ireland Bloss and Ella Barnett each added a hit and a run scored, with Barnett also contributing a sacrifice to help generate offense. In the circle, Emma Lisenbee took the loss, allowing six runs over 3.2 innings, while Myla Laws provided relief and tossed 3.1 innings, giving up two runs and striking out one. The Pirates managed five hits on the day but were unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities, leaving six runners on base.
Game 2:
NCMC put together a strong offensive showing but came up just short in a 10-9 battle with MCC, as the Pirates tallied 14 hits on the day. Kaylor Hodge led the charge with a big performance at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBIs, while Ella Barnett added two hits and drove in a pair. Ireland Bloss contributed a key two-RBI effort, and Katie Pierson chipped in with two hits and an RBI. At the top of the lineup, Alex Endicott and Myla Laws each recorded two hits and combined to score three runs, helping spark the Pirate offense. Despite the balanced attack, North Central was unable to overcome Metropolitan's late push, as Skylar Sunderland and Emma Lisenbee split time in the circle in the narrow defeat.
